Growing up in Arlington, VA, Nekya often thought about modeling, and loved dancing and children. Born October 31^st, she was involved in many activities such as cheerleading, ballet, and soccer. As a dancer she performed in numerous talent shows and with teams in school. Her dedication to youth has been supplemented by her jobs in summer camps, her success as a youth cheer coach, current dance coach, and her position in the public school system. She attended Northern VA Community College where she received her 2 year degree in Criminal Justice and later transferred to Strayer University where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is currently studying for her Master’s in Education.

Nekya has been pursuing modeling since 2006. Over the years she has expanded her portfolio increasing her experience through photo shoots, fashion shows, and has been able to add to her exposure by attending and participating in local events and parties. Her personality and ability to network and socialize have opened up many opportunities for her to showcase her flair and potential. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, dance, reading, and shopping. She also enjoys giving back to the communities in the DMV area. 

Nekya enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends, and hopes to continue to show her modeling ability. Her future goals are to be a successful female and to continue her aspirations of a model, all while making a difference in the lives of young people.
